Sigh... how boring... [Will]

Frieda sighed as she wiped yet another glass to shining perfection. Tonight had been pretty boring, actually. Hardly any customers had come in and now it was almost closing time. What a boring night. Frieda sighed yet again as she set the glass with all the other equally shining glasses, adjusting her corset before crossing her arms and leaning back against the counter behind. Then something happened. "Damn. You don't see that every day."

Will and Sheila were surrounded by lots of colors. They had lost their sense of direction, and had no clue where they were or where they were going.

Suddenly, the two came out of the rift, and were hurled down to the ground, landing in trees and bushes, just in front of some bulidings.

Some person had just fallen from the sky! Frieda couldn't believe it. Right outside the building! Then her thoughts kicked in. "I don't care about what they say about not abandoning post. This calls for it." Leaping over the bar, Frieda hurried outside, nearly hitting the person with a door in her haste. "Are you alright?" She asked, crouching down and looking at the person in concern.

Will heard someone running over to her. She looked up and found some girl with red hair crouching next to her.

Freida wrote:"Are you alright?"

Will rubbed her head, her eyesight clearing up a bit. "Uh, yeah...I think I'm alright..."

She sat up, looking around. She had no clue where she was at, so she decided to ask the girl next to her. "Um...Where...Where am I?"

"Painesville City?" Frieda half asked, wondering if this girl had hit her head in the fall. "Seriously, what were doing on the roof? You could have died. Well, not died, but broken an arm or something."

"Roof?" Will asked, slightly confused. "I wasn't on the roof..."

She looked around a little bit more, and noticed that this girl had no daemon near her. Alarmed, she looked for Sheila frantically. Will caught sight of her just a couple of feet away, so she picked her up.

"Um...I-if you don't mind me asking...Where's your daemon?"

"I wasn't on the roof..."

Frieda smiled, and disbelievingly asked, "Then you expect me to believe that you fell from the sky?"

"Um...I-if you don't mind me asking...Where's your daemon?"

"And daemons? I think you need to go to the hospital. You must have jarred SOMETHING in that head of yours. Is your bird alright? Maybe we could take her to a vet?" Frieda asked unsurely, wondering if vets were ABLE of taking care of humming birds. Giving the hummingbird an admiring but concerned look, Frieda reached a
finger out to gently stroke the multicolored body of the diminutive bird.

"Then you expect me to believe that you fell from the sky?"

"I-I did, though...I fell out of the sky..." Will said, wondering why this girl didn't believe her.

"And daemons? I think you need to go to the hospital. You must have jarred SOMETHING in that head of yours."

"...What do you mean?...You don't know what a daemon is?" Will asked, surprised.

"Is your bird alright? Maybe we could take her to a vet?"

"She should be alright..." Will said. She paused for a second, then asked yet another question. "Wh-what's a vet?"

As Frieda's finger came close to Sheila, she flapped her wings and pecked the finger.

"Don't touch me!" Sheila exclaimed, not wanting this strange girl to touch her.

"Oh my god!" Frieda jumped back, staring in shock at the talking hummingbird. "That's just not right." She exclaimed, staring at the bird with wide eyes.

Sheila tilted her head. "What's not right...?" she asked innocently.

"...Is something wrong?" Will asked the girl.

"Okay. Now I'm crazy. The bird is talking. Aliens. The end of the world. Armageddon. It's all happening now. Where are the flying pigs?" Frieda mumbled to herself, completely at sea.

"Er...You didn't know that daemons could talk?" Will asked, very confused. "Are you feeling alright?"

After mumbling more incoherent things to herself, Frieda snapped out of it, her gaze sharpening and drilling in on the green haired girl. "What do you mean daemons? If your referring to animals, animals don't talk. Well, except parrots, but they don't naturally talk." Gaze drifting to the hummingbird, Frieda shook her head. "Maybe I'm dreaming and this is all a dream. Maybe I fell asleep at the bar. After all, today's been dead and I was up late talking to my friends." Frieda sat back on her heels and contemplated the situation.

Will and Sheila looked at each other as the red haired girl continued to freak out.

"I think she jarred something in her head..." Sheila commented.

"...How does she not know that daemons talk?..." Will asked, mainly to herself.

"Are you calling daemons animals? Because they don't talk. And I'm perfectly fine! I thought I was odd, communing with ghosts and all that! But you! That animal is possessed with a ghost; that's all there is to it!" Frieda pointed a figure at the hummingbird. "Now what do I need? A cross, holy water, sage, an Ouija board..." she mumbled to herself.

"Are you calling daemons animals? Because they don't talk.

"Yes, they do." Will said.

And I'm perfectly fine! I thought I was odd, communing with ghosts and all that! But you! That animal is possessed with a ghost; that's all there is to it!"

"Wh-what?!" She gasped. "Sh-Sheila's not possessed!!"

"Now what do I need? A cross, holy water, sage, an Ouija board..." she mumbled to herself.

Will picked Sheila up and held her close to her body. "You're not doing anything to Sheila! I mean, don't you know that you CANNOT touch her?!"
